In the Aure valley in the heart of the French Pyrenees, Saint Lary Soulan is overlooked by the Tramezaigues and Aret, the Pic du Midi de Bigorre and Arbizon peaks. A ski resort whose slogan is "Saint-Lary 100% Pyrenees", the resort offers to skiers, telemarkers and snowboarders three sectors: Saint Lary 1700 "Pla d'Adet" (dedicated to family ski), Saint Lary 1900 "Espiaube" (area dedicated to good skiers) and Saint Lary 2400 (an area privileged for its jumps and snowpark). Close to the ski resort, two peaks stick out: the Pic Long at 3194m and the Neouvielle at 3092m. Saint Lary, a champions resort, called one of its piste Mirabelle, from its champion Isabelle Mir, 15-time French ski champion between 1965 and 1973 and 3 time gold medallist at the World descent Championships and silver medal at the Grenoble Games of 1968.
